Versatile Corporate-Wide Access is an add-on to Versatile Retention that places schedule information within everyone’s reach. Previously known as Versatile Web Retention, Corporate-Wide Access works in a similar manner to Versatile Retention, but in a “read only” mode. After creating your retention schedule in Versatile Retention, it is instantly available to your users through the corporate intranet.

With Versatile Corporate-Wide Access, users with authorized access can view your corporate records retention schedule. Access rights configured in Versatile Retention will control who has access to specific functionality offered in each window and even certain sections of the schedule, if needed. Schedule titles (record titles) can be searched and viewed for the master series, for a company, or for a business function. Users can also view the interview data from which the schedule was derived. Access rights are determined by the Security settings in the Versatile Retention main application.

For users with access rights, requests for changes to the schedule can be managed via the Web. Change requests may be added, updated, proposed, authorized, and approved/rejected through the Web. Messages sent to notify authorized users of pending changes to the records retention schedule can be viewed.

Versatile Corporate-Wide Access also enables users to quickly identify relevant international and U.S. federal and state statutory and regulatory requirements to retain records. By considering the legal jurisdictions in which the company operates, the business activities engaged in by the company, and other filters that you may specify, the software finds relevant laws in its database of over 130,000 international, federal, and state record retention requirements. Our research scope extends beyond retention to address additional requirements that impact the management of records throughout their life cycle. These requirements include retention laws and regulations, data privacy affecting records retention, handling requirements (destruction, records location and movement, records media/format), and statutes of limitations.
